Flight Training Programs Highlights

At Academy of Aviation we provide training under both FAA Part 141 and Part 61. We have programs for the following airplane pilot privilege levels:

  • Sport Pilot: fly only Light Sport Airplanes
  • Recreational Pilot: fly airplane of up to 180 horsepower (130 kW) and 4 seats in the daytime for pleasure only
  • Private Pilot: fly for pleasure or personal business, generally without accepting compensation
  • Commercial Pilot: fly for compensation or hire
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP): act as pilot in command (PIC) for a scheduled airline

A pilot can separately add the following ratings to a Private or Commercial certificate.

A pilot must maintain currency in order to practice his or her pilot license. We provide flying lessons and biennial flight review so that you can maintain your currency and fly safely.
